NEiTA Teaching Awards

Teachers inspire learning—but who inspires the teachers?

Reward and recharge the teachers and leaders at your school or centre by nominating them this year for a teaching or leadership award. Your teacher or leader will be thrilled to receive a NEiTA Certificate of Nomination to acknowledge his or her enthusiasm and commitment.

Established by ASG Education Programs New Zealand* 18 years ago, the NEiTA awards programme encourages teaching excellence, and gives communities a way to publicly recognise their inspirational teachers and leaders. More than 3,750 early childhood education, primary, intermediate and secondary teachers have been nominated to date.

In 2007, ASG joined with Cognition Education Trust* to co-sponsor awards for both teachers and educational leaders. These awards, the ASG Teaching Awards and Cognition Education Leadership Awards, are presented to 20 teachers at regional level, and to 10 teachers at national level.

Nominations open this year in May. Nominating is easy! Be among the first to show that your community appreciates and applauds its excellent and inspirational educators.
